1 Day: LA PAZ – BOTIJLACA
– UMA PALKA
Early breakfast in the Hotel in La Paz, and take the bus
around 6:30am, then we will drive for about 2 hours arrive
to Botijalca Village in the base of the Huayna Potosi, here
we will meet our mule drivers and start the trek hiking-up
for about 4 hours in the skirts of Tikimani Mountain, we
will pass the tikimani pass at 4600 masl. then we will start
to descent for about 3 hours by the zongo valley until the
viallage of Umapalka 3800 masl. dinner and overnight camping
2 Day: UMA PALKA – ZANJA PAMPA
after the breakfast in the camp site we will continue with
our trekking by the skirts of the hill called Matilde, then
we will continue hiking and arriving to the lake of Criarkuta,
then we will continue to the place called Zanjapampa where
we will set our camping place, dinner and ovenight camping.
3 Day: ZANJA PAMPA - CHUKURA
andean breakfast in the morining and start hiking for about
3 hours in the mountain skirts, we will arrive to the lake
Kutacucho, from here we will join the Choro trekking route,
then continue with our hiking arriving to Chukura, dinner
and overnight camping.
4 Day: CHUKURA - CHALLAMPAMPA
continue our trekking after the energetic breakfast, this
time we will descend by the valley, we will have notorious
climate changing as we leave behind us the altitudes, we
will find more vegetation and warm climate and humunidity,
then after to walk for about 5 hours we will arrive to Challapampa,
place where we will set our camp, dinner and overnight.
5 Day: CHALLAMPAMPA – SANDILLANI
continue trekking walking down by the small valley, apreciating
vegetation, and diferent life styles, then continue hiking
passing sveral streams and humudity area, in the eraly afternoon
arriving to Sandillani where we will set our camping place,
dinner and ovenight.
6 Day: SANDILLANI - CHAIRO – COROICO
we will continue trekkingbut after few hours our trek will
finish in the place of Chairo, here our car will be waiting
to take us to the village of Coroico, known as pearl of
the andes, here we will have a pleasant rest, we will walk
around the village, dinner and ovenight in lodging house.
7 Day: COROICO – LA PAZ
we will have free morning, and walk around the village then
we will aboard the bus and take back to La Paz, arriving
in the afternoon and transfer direct to the selected hotel,
dinner and overnight in La Paz.
